Due to the issues that occurred in the past days which lead to an harsh debate between community members the Prohibition Staff has took the decision to close temporary the server for maintenance starting the
16th June. There is no official reopen date at the moment nevertheless the symbolic date of
1st September has been chosen for a reopen .
Before an official statement of the Admins about what their work will consist, you are invited to :
- Find and use the bugs that occur in the game under the condition to feedback them to the Admins
- Every modification that was made on your account after the 7 June at 00:09 wont be implanted ; a backup has been made
- You are free to have a bit fun InGame and to do whatever you like. However respect the previous points and the general rules
This are the goals that the Admins have set up for the 16th June: A debugged version (v1.0) with the improvement that have been mentioned during the last months of the Beta version.
The v1.0 which is lead by the Staff members (Gazu, Killao, Lukro, Mimi) will consist of (not exhaustive list)
- resolving the unit duplicating bug
- setting up the unit speed, their cost and the travel time
- setting up the admin tool which simplifies the Game Operator task
- setting up the tool that feedback bugs and insults
- resolving the bug that made the unit accumulation in the training room
- integrating the "cancel" button for the buildings
- correcting the bug in alliance ranking
- setting up an upload service for building pics
- No idea what it is (la reprise d'une pagination pour le classement) but has to do with the rank system
- setting up a daily backup of the database
- setting up a donating system and a donating counter
- setting up a ban-list
- integrating HTML/CSS and a new design for the v1.0 template
For the v2.0 lead by Killeur and Killao, it will consist of using a new Framework which will improve the game stability, simplify the development and open the way for new technologies. Perhaps a more detailed list will be made.
The Staff is aware that the closing period could be long but due the issues that occurred pas days it was preferred the radical method to close the server during a certain time. Our goal is to satisfy each one.
We also would like to introduce in near future a paid service like in the old Detta to contribute on the server costs. However to do this we have to change our legal status. Therefore we would be glad to have a lawyer, or at least someone that has knowledge in law in order to help us.
We will also set up a donate service to help Gazu with the server costs and to make a server change possible (We would like to get a more powerful server).
Finally surveys will be made in order to improve Prohibition1933.com
Our project is ambitious therefore we seek the community's support.
